TERI-ITEC Community

TERI-ITEC community has been formed for the alumni of the TERI-ITEC programmes being conducted by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) with the support of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC)/Special Commonwealth African Assistance Programme (SCAAP), ITEC Division of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

TERI has been an empanelled institute from 2007 onwards. The TERI-ITEC courses address sustainable development, climate change, resources, energy, trade, and sustainable development issues with a global approach highlighting global, national, and local dimensions. These courses aim at increasing understanding of sustainable development, renewable energy and energy efficiency, energy-efficient technologies, rural energy access, biotechnology, climate change, resource governance, trade, and sustainable development. The courses are designed to meet the needs of mid-level government and non-government professionals, practitioners in developing, least developed, and emerging countries of South.

Following is the TERI-ITEC programme for 2012 -13. There are eight courses which are proposed in the forthcoming academic year and each course is designed to amalgamate lectures, discussions, and field visits for enhanced learning and knowledge-sharing.
